A couple weeks ago I was contacted by BuildaSign.com to do a review for them. So I got to custom design my own bumper magnets. It was soooo easy too. I did it in like 5 minutes. Here’s what I came up with.

I liked the idea of a magnet and not a sticker. I can even use it on my magnetic board in my kitchen. I just thought it was something fun. And they sent me 20, so I can give them out to anyone who wants one. Just let me know, and I’ll send you one.

Here’s a little information about them.

They make event banners, custom bumper stickers you can give out, yard signs, cool car window clings and more.

Their signs are printed on high quality materials with some of the most advanced printing equipment available. Their design tool lets you design your own custom signs, even upload your own images, and you can get your signs delivered as soon as tomorrow.

Alright, I’m slowly but surely catching up on everything since I’ve been home, still have some suitcases to unpack and laundry to fold, but it’s coming along.

I wanted to share a little more about our trip for the sake of anyone thinking about going on a cruise.  I thought I’d throw out my two cents and review of the ship The Allure of the Seas, the newest (3 months old) and largest ship in the world.

In this video I share my Top Five favorite things about the ship. Then below I’ll share my complaints because I do have a few.

COMPLAINTS

*The room was WAY too small for a family of 4.  By the end of the 7 days I was about ready to pull my hair out.  On our last cruise we got a small suite which was perfect!!! But this time since we chose a more expensive cruise ship we weren’t able to get a suite unless we wanted to throw down $12,000.  So we chose the more conservative route.

It’s not easy going from THIS

To THIS

It was so small, I couldn’t even step back enough to get a full view for the picture.

* And for my second complaint, the baby center was a piece of crap!  Sorry, but this is the one thing that frustrated me the most.  When we booked this cruise I was so excited because this cruise ship actually accommodates babies. Most of the other cruise lines only have child centers for ages 3 and up. So I was so excited to get the chance to do some things on the ship, just Sean and I.  You know, the best of both worlds. You get to have your kids with you, but you also get some alone time with your spouse.

The first night we went to drop Oliver off, he screamed his head off. I felt so bad that I went in and got him. Then the second night I was determined to make it happen, so I took him in there again and sat outside the room listening to him scream, “I want mama, I want mama” over and over and over. Just when I was about to give in, he stopped. Just broke my heart though.

Needless to say, I didn’t dare do it to him again. So that was his last visit to the baby center.
Basically, the baby center was really just for babies, like tiny babies that don’t really know what the hecks going on. Oliver is going into the toddler stage and needs space to run around and play. The baby center was probably about the same size as our room, it was dark, and completely uninviting. I was NOT impressed. He would have had a ball if he got to go in the same room as Lily. Her kids club was AWESOME. We couldn’t get her to leave, and every day she would beg to go back.

* And now for my last complaint. The first stop was the Bahama’s and the ship was only there until 12:30pm, which was WAY too short. By the time we woke up, got ready and had breakfast it was already 11am. So basically we got off the ship, walked around for 30 min trying to decide what to do before realizing we ran out of time. We just walked right back onto the ship and didn’t get to do a thing on that stop. Such a bummer :(

If you need help booking a cruise we have a friend in the business. You can contact her on facebook.

One thing Sean and I argue about this time of year, is WHEN to put up the Christmas tree. We had a little debate about putting it up BEFORE Thanksgiving but he’s learned to follow the very wise quote, “Happy Wife, Happy Life” :) :) :)

Then he REALLY started to get into the Christmas spirit!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I found another company called Shutterfly that has a great selection of Holiday Cards. They are a little cheaper than the last one I posted about too. They happen to be the  #1 choice of professional photographers.
I didnt order enough Christmas cards so Im going to go with this company for the next batch. Here is the one I picked along with some information directly from their website. Just choose the card you want and upload your pictures, it’s that simple.
Store all your pictures on Shutterfly free of charge, safelywithout limitations, or deletion.
We do not shrink your original high-resolution imagesgiving you the best professional-quality prints and products in the industry.
Instantly share your pictures onlinefriends can see them without signing up.
Turn your pictures into personalized giftswere #1 in quality, having won awards for our photo books, cards, and editing tools.
Weve got articles, videos and plenty of How To tips to support and inspire you.
Pick up 4×6 prints at Target, Walgreens, and CVS in as little as an hour.
*If you have a blog and would like to receive 50 FREE cards then go HERE to see how.
One last thing before you go! I talked with Effie’s Heart about changing the Giveaway Prize. I wasn’t getting much response with the gloves, so we decided to just make it a $36 gift card instead. This way you can choose what ever you want. Shirt, Cabaret leggings, gloves, or whatever else you want on their website. Remember they offer free shipping anywhere in the US and this weekend for Black Friday, EVERYTHING is 30% OFF!!!!!!! To enter the giveaway, leave your comments  HERE.
Today I wanted to tell you about a few new fun things I recently learned about. First are these YUMMY chewy granola bar snacks. I love it when I find healthy snacks that my kids like. These kinds of things sure come in handy when I’m out and about and need something to pacify Olly for a bit, much better than my usually lolly pop stash I have in my purse at all times. You can find these Sunbelt snacks at most any grocery store or you can go to their website www.sunbeltsnacks.com and search for stores nearest you by simply typing in your zip code.
My favorite is the blueberry harvest one.  Only 120 calories, has 7 grams of whole grain oats, preservative free, they use REAL blueberries, and they are also a great source of antioxidant vitamin E.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Next are these fun nail polish alternatives called Jam Berry Nails. These are so fun and super easy to apply. They say they should last up to 4 weeks, so that sounds nice to me. So far I’ve only tried them on my fingernails, but I would love to see how these hold up on my toes. Below is a short video that shows you how to apply them. I love all the different designs they have to choose from. I’m a big fan of animal print so these were the ones I chose.

Here are a few more of my top picks. You can order these from their website for only $15, and that’s enough nail shields to do your hands AND your toes. Right now you can buy 2 and get one free with free shipping.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And last but not least, I recently learned about a great new website called My LDS Memories. This website offers a bunch of free templates for you to use for your photos and then print into a bookstore quality book.  I know there are a lot of different companies out there, but this one stood out to me. I  have used blurb and iphoto before to make my books, but all the templates were so plain and boring.  Here are a few pics below that will give you a little idea of the kinds of templates they offer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Don’t forget to enter my giveaway I have going on right now. Leave a comment HERE for your chance to win a cute necklace and one of these lace tops, your color of choice.

Even though I’m not a little girl anymore, I STILL want to be a princess when I grow up :) Last week we celebrated Lily’s birthday party and we were lucky enough to have the REAL Princess Amerah come. All the little girls had an absolute ball, literally. We started the party out with a little swimming at a nearby recreation center, then we all gathered into the party room to make way for the special appearance of Princess Amerah.
I was so impressed with everything Princess Amerah did with the girls, and she’s a beautiful singer too. Here’s a short clip of the party.

As part of the birthday package, Lily got her very own signed copy of Princess Amerah’s book.

Here is a short description of what the book is all about. It has such a great message for ALL little girls.

Amerah is a shy, young girl, whose classmates constantly tease her about her bright-red hair. She often seeks solace from her grandmother and the tales she relates to Amerah about the Magic Land of Amaryllis. Just before Grandmother Rose passes away, she shares with Amerah the greatest secret of all:  the existence of a magic dress that would someday be hers!

When her new nanny, Olga, appears at the front door, Amerah soon discovers that something about Olga is not quite right.  After all, what kind of lady takes such delight in jamming her cold, hard cane through the wheels of a boys bike and sending him flying through the air.

Amerah knows that the only way to save herself and her puppy, Sadie, from the clutches of her cruel nanny is to find the magic dress. But will she find it in time?

Amerah is about to embark on the journey of her life, an adventure she could never have imagined in her wildest dreams.

Princess Amerah is a professional childrens entertainer who performs at all sorts of events. She can be hired for Birthday Parties, Elementary School Assemblies, Library Programs, Expos, Business Promotion, Theme Parks, and Cruise Lines.

She has been hired to perform for thousands of children at hundreds of birthday parties, and childrens events throughout the state of Utah, and is available for travel within and outside the United States.

No, I’m not pregnant with twins. Actually not pregnant at all,  that I know of.  If you read my “Thinking Maternity” post, then you’d know that it’s very much a possibility for me to be pregnant, not with twins though :) . Don’t worry I’ll keep you all posted AS SOON as it happens :) . Anyway, the real reason for this post is to tell you about Lily’s new favorite doll.

I got this stuff for her as a back to school gift. Actually we already had the doll, and it’s not an American girl doll, we got it from Costco last year for $35. They are selling them again right now for Christmas, you can find them online too. The outfits are from K-Mart and they’re called What A Doll Girls. You can buy the dolls there too but I personally didn’t think they were as cute as the Costco ones:) The outfit sets are only $25 in stores and $20 online. I just went online and bought her a few more outfits to give to her as birthday gifts. She’s turning the big “5″ this month, and she’s extremely excited about it.

Here are some of the other outfits they have.

These pajama’s are only $10

 There is another company called My Twin, that sells all kinds of cute stuff like this, but WAY expensive. Here are some of the things I’ve been eyeing, and MAYBE I’ll have to splurge on this adorable doll bunk bed for one of Lily’s Christmas presents.

And I just wanted to throw in these recent pictures I took of little Olly and his daddy. I’m pretty proud of the way they turned out, thanks to my wonderful friend Carrie. She’s teaching me some of her skills.

Oh, and I would sure love it if you voted for me today on Top Mommy Blogs.  The numbers were reset again, gives other bloggers a chance to be in the top 25, so now back to square one for everyone. Today I wanted to tell you about some great candles. My friend Stephanie Lee has created these incredible scents for her candles and gave me a couple to try out in my own home. I have to tell you, I am LOVING the Creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake one. Such a nice feeling having the fun fall scents filling the air of my house. Stephanie Lee candles is known for having a long lasting stronger scent than most candles, and I really believe that. I can burn just this one candle, and my entire house is filled with this yummy fragrance.
I also got her High Maintenance ScenTease pack, and I SO love that she sent me one with that particular name :) It really smells great too!
I’m excited to share a little about Stephanie Lee, she is such a fun person. You’ve got to see this cute video she made.
I’ll let Stephanie tell us a little more about her wonderful candles.
Stephanie Lee Candles was created 3 and a half years ago in my kitchen in San Antonio, Texas.  I began making handmade candles and taking them out to businesses in the community.  Because I used only the finest ingredients available in the market today, everyone loved them!
When I learned that most candle companies only put 2-5% fragrance oil in their wax, but the wax can actually hold 10%, I was shocked!  I put in the full 10% with my high grade fragrance oil, and use so much sometimes the wax “bleeds”.  This is nothing to worry about, it just makes it even stronger!
I started making all natural bath and body products and they were a hit as well, so I thought it was time to get a website going… a month later, a store, and it has snowballed since! A couple years later I moved the production facility up to Idaho Falls, Idaho where my family resides.  The company contines to grow as the quality is high, and I truly care about pleasing my customers.
My candles are availabe in places like Jackson Hole, WY; Sedona, AZ; New York City, NY; LA, CA…and all across the United States. They can be found exclusively in high-end boutiques and day spas.
They are sassy, eco-friendly, and I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy making them!  Any more questions, please send me an email at: [email protected]
I love this cute zebra print oil warmer she has. You can also use it for her ScenTease squares.
I love this candle wall hanger, such a fun little idea.
This is her 2 in 1 candle in the lid. How cool is that!!!!!
Well, if any of you are interested in trying out some of her candles. Just go to her website at www.stephanieleecandles.com
